Each of these sculptures has evolved from a concept that explored the visual expression of sound and music. Each illustrates the melodic lines informed by codes and patterns which were then interpreted threedimensionally using tension, line and colour.

Emma Yeo applies a range of skills and techniques to transform and manipulate a diverse selection of mediums including metal, plastic, natural materials and fabrics. Her work is unique and experimental. Design software is used to create each linear design which is then inscribed onto wood using a laser cutter. This results in intricate sculptural pieces which hold a strong sense of movement and interest on their surface.
